ZTM - Zottegem club station. ZTM is a group of radioamateurs interested in contesting and DX chasing in all modes, also on VUSHF. They usualy operate from their home QTH and in some cases, for multi operator contests from the QTH of one of the members or in the fields near Zwalm or Brakel. Some members are also involved dx-peditions on VHF (3A, ZB2, C3). Zottegem is located in the province East-Flanders (Oost-Vlaanderen=OV), about 25km southeast of Ghent and about 50km west of Brussels. It lies at the foot of the sloping Flemish Ardennes. From the flat landscape in the northwest to the sleep hilly country in the southeast, the scenery breathes a spirit and tranquility. It takes up in many grand cycling circuits (a.o. Tour of Flanders), especially for its bumpy cobblestone areas. Last but not least, Zottegem is also known as the city of Egmont, as the mortal remains of Lamoral, (the unfortunate) Count of Egmont, and his lady Sabine of Bavaria, lie in the crypt of the parish church. The locations of the stations for this special event will be at ON6YX, ON4CLF, ON5MB, ON7AB, ON4BWT. Other stations from our club ON6ZT: on4ig, on6me, on7bfb, on4aiq, on7kel, on7ab, on6are, on3ddh, on6ct, on4alf, on7hv, on7hy, on7ga, on8ma, on6vw, on5qv, on3afi, on6an, on6jv, on4bwt, on3wxy, on4axw, on7eq, on5aen.
